Symbolism & Meaning
The Yin & Yang symbol represents equal and opposite forces. In Yin there is a seed of Yang and in Yang there is a seed of Yin. Yin is black - dark, passive, receptive and feminine - whilst yang is white - bright, creative, active and masculine. The idea is that, just as in life, not everything is completely black or white. The two energies complement, and cannot exist without, each other. This two-piece pendant represents the Yin & Yang concept with people - an obvious symbol for lovers, but also a symbol of the divine dance of life.
